Citizen and staff involvement is crucial in shaping future health and care services.

We know we need to look at doing some things differently and we promise to keep you informed and involved. As we're just starting, there will be lots of opportunities for you to get involved and have your say.

Everything you need to know about your local health and care services will be delivered in an honest and clear way.

There are a lot of workstreams, all looking at different areas of services. If you would like us to keep in touch about any of them, please email helloworkingtogether@nhs.net with:

  • Your name

  • Any special requirements for events

Review of hospital services - how to get involved

We are asking for your views to inform an independent review of hospital services in South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire.

The review is looking into five of our regions’ services – gastroenterology (for stomach or intestine conditions), urgent and emergency care, maternity services, stroke services (early supported discharge and rehabilitation) and services for children who are particularly ill.

We want to improve these services so that everyone in the region has access to high-quality, safe care – now and in the future.

We are not closing any local hospitals. We want you to help us future-proof local services.
