In South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw we have a long and successful track record of working together to improve the health and wellbeing of local people. Now, as an integrated care system, we are bringing all of the local health and care partners together with citizens, to plan the next generation of health and care services for our region.

Together, we want to give everyone a great start in life, to give them the support they need to stay healthy and live longer, with more life chances and opportunities for the wellbeing of every person, not just their physical healthcare needs.

We believe that developing and supporting our staff is vital to achieving these exciting developments across the region. We have over 48,000 members of staff who work to meet the needs of the 1.5 million people across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. Our staff provide services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we are committed to supporting our staff to do the best possible job and provide the best possible care.

To better meet the needs of our patients, we will have a workforce that is flexible – with the right people, with the right skills, in the right place and at the right time – often working across sites to help provide the care needed, where needed.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport can take you to many western European countries as well as Egypt, Barbados and Jamaica.
